My passion for machinery started at a very early age, having been brought up in a farming community, agriculture and machinery has always been a strong influence in my life. I was fascinated by watching the tractors work, eventually spending weekends working on local farms once I was old enough to help.

When I left school I trained as an apprentice heavy good fitter, before going out to work for some large local agricultural contractors. 

However in 2008 I took the first step that would change everything and purchased my first ever machine, a Volvo BL71 Backhoe Excavator. Working self employed as man and machine for hire, work load continued to grow until it was time to take on extra help.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the years, with the help of dedicated and highly experienced staff and loyal customers. 

We have a strong commitment to supporting our local economy and are always keen to bring on young enthusiastic operators from especially farming back grounds who have a good knowledge of hydraulics and how machinery works. It is incredibly important that we give the young guys a chance as the massive shortage of skilled operators is becoming increasingly apparent in the current marketplace. 

Finally, none of this would have been possible without having the right fleet. I am a massive volvo fan, love the product, the attention to detail when it comes to the cab etc. reliable and well built machines, the dump trucks are undoubtably the best on the market. Our drivers share the same passion as I do, and this reflects in the care they take in their work and maintaining their machine.
